Shamaa is a pioneering Arab educational research database that emerged from early efforts in Lebanon to document and centralize academic studies across the region.
Between 2007 and 2017, it evolved into a fully independent Arab institution supported by regional and international partners. Its mission is to provide free, structured access to educational research, reduce duplication, and strengthen evidence‑based decision‑making.
Today, Shamaa stands as a vital resource for researchers, universities, and policymakers across the Arab world.
